MRM Swoosh 98’ will be holding tryouts May 28 to June 6 for the 2013-2014 season. The team will be playing in WAGS during the Fall and Spring and two sessions of indoor soccer over the winter. The MRM Flames ’98 is a competitive travel team based in northern Montgomery county, MD playing in WAGS League Division 2. We train year round and compete in several local and regional tournaments, including Stafford St. Patrick’s, MSI Cherry Blossom, August Cup, Hershey Invitational, Good Counsel Futsal, Richmond VA Capital Fall Classic, and other tournaments. The Flames won the 2012 Maryland Presidents Cup and represented the state at the New Hampshire Region 1 Tournament. MD Rush Montgomery Nike ’97 (fka Seneca Blink Magic)is seeking players for the Spring 2013 season.
Our coaching style emphasizes possession-driven, creative style of play, "joga-bonito" soccer, focusing on each girl’s long term soccer development as well as the development of a complete athlete.
MD Rush Nike ’97 is coached by Kennedy Torres, a Brazilian-native who played semi-pro in Brazil until being recruited to play soccer for a top Division-1 University. After graduating Coach Kennedy played semi-pro soccer on the East Coast. Coach Kennedy currently holds USSF "C" and NSCAA National coaching licenses. Blink’s assistant coaches are also licensed with USSF and/or NSCAA.
In addition to top level coaching staff our players train with various top-trainers from the area including current professional soccer players. Coach Kennedy believes in developing the total athlete and offers different developmental clinics focusing on Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ).
Players interested in trying out for the team must be committed to the game of soccer. Our team competes in the Fall, Winter and Spring soccer leagues in addition to pre and post season tournaments and College Showcase Tournaments including training year round. Our players are committed to the team, the game and each other and have become fast and lifelong friends on and off the field. We welcome skilled, hardworking and positive minded players for tryouts.

Rush Montgomery Swoosh ’97 (fka Seneca Whirlwinds) is seeking to expand U15 girls team roster by adding at least 3 new players to continue the team's success as well as individual development. We are looking for committed and talented WAGS players to be able to play a year round in WAGS league, winter league and tournaments. Roy Crumrine holds a USSF National 'D' license and we hire a professorial trainer to maximize their soccer career development. Team practices in Gaithersburg/Rockville areas. Rush Montgomery Clash ’97 is looking for one committed field player. The team practices in the Kensington-Bethesda area and is composed mostly of high school freshmen and a few sophomores and 8th graders. The team is coached by MCPS teacher Ruben Serafini, who has coached all ages for more than 20 years. Most recently, he coached the Stone Ridge JV soccer team, and is currently coaching two high school WAGS teams. We are holding try outs during regular practices. The Rush Montgomery Swoosh ’96 (fka Seneca Angels) – Rising U16 WAGS Team. Currently adding 4-6 players for the Fall of 2012 with rosters expanding to 22 players. The Angels would like to add serious players interested in continuing club level premier play through high school. Looking for skilled players that have a passion for the game and a positive attitude. Team will be playing WAGS in the fall but will not begin practicing/training until the winter season due to fall high school commitments. The Angels are a stable, successful team based in the N Potomac/Gaithersburg area, but drawing players from 11 different public and private high schools throughout Montgomery County.
